June Vintaj Inspiration Box

Today on Facebook I did the live unboxing of the Vintaj VIP Inspiration Box for June, it's their new monthly subscription box filled with $150 worth of Vintaj components and beads. You can watch the video here. So my finished necklace looks a little different from where I ended off on the video. I decided the smaller metal pieces didn't quite work on the design and went with large rope jump rings instead.

(This post is sponsored by Vintaj.)

Here are the earrings, repeating the same little dangle elements from the necklace. Aren't those little Forget-Me-Not Czech glass beads adorable on there? I just love those beads. You can find them in several colors on my website here

After letting some ideas peculate, I gathered together the key pendant and filigree droplet to create a pendant with my Day Lily Oval Pendant. This piece definitely hints at a story - a key and potion to enter a secret fairy garden?

So let's talk about the little bottle looking charm I made. It first started as this filigree droplet.

I opened it up inserted two of the beads from the box, added on the two very chunky jump rings and them bent the ends of the filigree back down around the top of the jump rings and rolled the end with the hoop down to create a bail. It's so much fun to get creative and do something out of the box. (Ha, sorry!)

My final piece I paired together the castle pendant layered with the filigree component to create a dreamy focal. That big huge crystal worked perfectly for the bottom of the pendant. Those pewter connectors are the bomb! They would also make great earring components. I may need to order more fo those too! Oh Vintaj, why do you have to be so tempting? And that's the great thing about the Inspiration Box, I get to try out new elements that I wouldn't have picked out - stretching my creativity but also giving me a preview of some goodies I missed from their website.
