Faux Sea Glass

Technique: Resin

Skill Level: All

Two Hour Workshop

Calling all beach combers! Discover how to create faux glass pendants from shells, urchins, keys and more using resin. During this fun class we'll make flexible molds of found objects, learn how to work with 2-part resin, tips for adding colorant and other tricks to create these beach-inspired pieces.

A materials fee is required for this class, all supplies are provided by the instructor.


Sundry Bracelet

Technique: Fringe Beading and Wire Work

Skill Level: All

Three Hour Class

Learn this easy seed bead technique to create beaded fringe! If you can sew a button, you can create this eclectic bracelet! A row of art beads plays off a sundry of seed beads and accents in stones, crystals and glass in a simple fringe technique. Learn how to make your own wire clasp to finish off this artistic piece. As part of this class we’ll explore color and textural elements as we consider design choices to create a bracelet that is uniquely yours.

This bracelet is so easy to customize - this is just one example. Kits in class will use copper or steel wire. This is a variation of a project from my book. I will walk you through it's creation step-by-step. You'll love the way this bracelet wears!

This project may not be complete by the end of class, depending on your skill level.

Color choices: Sea(Teal), Garden(Purple) or Woodland(Bronze)


Birds of a Feather Nests

Technique: Wire Work

Skill Level: All

Two Hour Workshop

I'll show you how to transform steel wire into a stunning bundle of entwined metal to encase your beads. Skills will be presented to create two types of wire nests with egg beads nestled inside. These nests can be used as connectors or pendants in your nature inspired creations.
